In order to proceed further, it is imperative to share with you all, some details about IFCJ. This organisation which was initially headed by Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein claims to be a bridge between the Christians and Jews in Israel.
Is IFCJ a good charity?
Now, that is one big question. In the recent 20 years, the organization claims to have collected over $1.4 billion from affluent Christians and helped the Jews living in Israel. Apart from the Jews, he claims to have helped other peoples in Israel. The help is certainly not of the political variety.
The organization has several projects, running hand in hand. They are serving all communities in Israel, for various causes. Very recently, there have been projects, where blankets and money was distributed to the needy. They are even running a call centre, to help all in need. They are providing immense support to the people of Israel. Israel being an immigrant country, call center executives are trained in speaks in seven different languages.
Current Scenario in Israel
The current state in Israel is such that the pension provided by government is able to cover only 40 % of the cost of the basic needs. So, the Fellowship comes into to pool money, collected from wealthy Christians. There are two major programs, run by the organization – namely Aliyah which provides resettlement plans to Jews, from all over the world.
Currently, the organization has 3.5 stars. Some believe that the organization is going great guns. Some have said that they are a bit restrictive. So, IFCJ Rating is not that bad, after all. Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein is fulfilling his responsibilities quite well.
As per recent, international news, some have serious concerns about the Rabbi. He is quite intelligent and speaks of ‘Evangelical Christianity’, however many people and societies have diverse concerns. He is not a believer of Yeshua.
